on spiritual healing and holy scripture

“of all afflictions that burden the human race, there is not one, whether spiritual or bodily, that can not be healed by Holy Scripture”  -Saint John Chrysostom

Bible Reading Plan

Read the WORD

There are times when we feel that God has fallen silent in our lives.  We strain, yearn to hear His Voice But hear nothing.   That is a great trial, and cn also bring sadness or confusion – even despair.    But please do not lose faith.   There is a way to hear His Voice, His Truth, His Promises and feel His comfort and consolation and be filled with hope, peace and joy.    I know you it does not feel that way now, and you might even be wondering how.  How can I hear His Voice?

Just by opening your Bible.    For just a few devoted moments every day.     Read the Scriptures – start with the New Testament.  And when you read, Read Out Loud.  Hear the Word.

Make time and space for a rendezvous with the Lord

Because the Truth is that God is never silent & and never absent.

But we are often busy, the midst of the business of life, in the midst of emotion, failure, shame or trauma.  It;s right in those moments that God is closest to you, pursuing you and holding you in the Palm of His Hand.

He is jealous for you, YOU are His beloved,  He loved us before we loved Him.  You are the apple of His eye and He loves you with an everlasting love.   It’s time to remember, rediscover and kindle your first love.
